Lorrain

I met her by chance one day.
I was on the road stopped at a little café.
She is perfection to me.
I ordered coffee a burger and fries.
As she walked away I realized.
I’d do anything to make her mine.
Because her green eyes would make me.
Her sweet lips would take me.
To worlds I’ve never known.
Places I’ve never gone.
Some might call me crazy, even insane.
It would not matter I would do it all the same.
I’d do it all for Lorraine.

I was lonely. I was sad.
Looked in her eyes then I was glad
that I had chosen to stop here.
If I had the choice in life
I would take her for my wife.
I’d give a lifetime to Lorraine.
Because her green eyes would make me.
Her sweet lips would take me.
To worlds I’ve never known.
Places I’ve never gone.
Some might call me crazy, even insane.
It would not matter I would do it all the same.
I’d do it all for Lorraine.

As I drove away from that little café.
I left my heart but I took her smile.
Every time I close, my eyes, I see
her smiling at me.

I’m going back someday,
to that out of the way café.
I’m gonna see her again.
Of my love I will not speak,
for I’m too humble and meek.
She is far too good for me.
But, her green eyes may make me.
Her sweet lips may take me
to worlds I’ve never known.
Places I’ve never gone.
Some may call me crazy, even insane.
It will not matter. I will do it all the same.
I’ll do it all for Lorraine.
I’ll do it all for Lorraine.

I met her by chance one day.
I was on the road stopped at a little Café.
She is perfection to me.
